Almost equal in size to Palm Spriings at about 44,000 people, Palm Desert is the cosmopolitan center of the desert resort cities. With country clubs, gated neighborhoods and the famed El Paseo shopping boulevard, Palm Desert literally has something for everybody. Here you wil find restaurants and nightclubs, churches and health clubs, the College of the Desert and its entertainment partner The McCallum Theater.
Palm Desert is clearly the shopping mecca of the desert resort cities, with the huge Westfield Mall and famous El Paseo with its designer shops and elegant restaurants. But for more earthy chores, you'll also find Home Depot and Lowe's.
Look for The Lakes Country Club, Avondale, Ironwood, Palm Valley, Desert Falls and Indian Ridge Country Clubs and many more. Some of the most inviting neighborhoods of single family homes are in South Palm Desert in neighborhoods called Vista Paseo, The Summit and Montera. Many of the hillside homes in these neighborhoods have stunning views of the desert below.
For the ultimate in exclusivity (or close to it) I'll be happy to show you property at Bighorn Golf Club or Stone Eagle. But if you don't have several million dollars to spend you won't fel left out, as there are plenty of home choices in all price ranges in Palm Desert.
