Luxuriously appointed one-to-four bedroom homes in 16 floor plans are being offereed for sale at The Residences at the Ritz-Carlton Rancho Mirage, a $500 million resort development scheduled to open in September.

There will be a total of 138 residences on a plateau 650 feet above the Coachella Valley, boasting panoramic views of the surrounding desert landscape and rugged Santa Rosa Mountains.

Priced from $895,000 to $4 million, the residences will come in three collections featuring the work of the architecture firm SB Architects and interior designer Wilson & Associates.

- The Spa Suites Collection offers 18 one bedroom, one-bath to two-bedroom, 2.5 bath suites situated adjacent to the resort's 24,000 square foot La Prairie Spa with private access directly into the destination spa.

- The Residential Suites collection offers 44 one-bedroom, one-bath to three-bedroom, thre-bath suites.  The suites will have a kitchen with designer-selected appliances, fixtues and other appointments.  Each suite will also have a private terrace.

- The Residences collection offers 76 two-bedroom, two-bath to four-bedroom, four-bath villas in one and two story arrangements.  The villas will feature private outdoor liing areas with fire pits and seating.  Some also will have a secluded plunge pool and patio.

Homeowners will have full access to the amenities of the 244 room Ritz-Carlton Rancho Mirage Hotel.  The five star resort will include a gourmet restaurant and wine bar and an exhibition kitchen.

The centerpiece of the resort will be its $25 million La Prairie Spa with 16 private treatment rooms, a fitness center and yoga and movement studios.
